SEOUL, April 5 (Xinhua) -- Busan, South Korea's second-largest city, will host the East Asian Cup 2019, East Asian Football Federation (EAFF) executive committee announced in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Friday.
The biennial tournament started in 2003. The 2019 edition will be staged in the South Korea city from December 10 to 18. The Asiad Main Stadium and Busan Gudeok Stadium are selected as the competition venues.
In men's competition, China, defending champion South Korea, Japan and Hong Kong, China will vie for the crown. Women's competition features South Korea, China, Japan and DPR Korea.
