Australian Antcliff wins Boao leg of China Tour golf

HAIKOU, April 21 (Xinhua) -- Maverick Antcliff of Australia won with 16-under 272 in Boao leg of the China Tour golf tournament on Sunday.

With the win in China's island province of Hainan, the 26-year-old golfer will receive six points in the world ranking and a bonus of about 20,000 U.S. dollars.

Behind Antcliff was Lin Yonglong of Chinese Taipei who was at 10 under. Tied third were Yuan Yechun of China, Matthew Negri of the United States and Lin Guanbo of Chinese Taipei.

The 2019 eight-leg China Tour will proceed to Wanning from April 25 to 28, a coastal town in the province, continue in Wuhan and Lushan from May 26-June 9, travel to Beijing and Tianjin from June 24-July 7, conclude in Hainan and Foshan from October 17-27.
