"Pokemon Detective Pikachu" continues leading Chinese mainland daily box office

BEIJING, May 14 (Xinhua) -- Hollywood's "Pokemon Detective Pikachu" continued topping the Chinese mainland box office Monday, according to the China Movie Data Information Network Tuesday.

The live-action/animated film grossed 24.49 million yuan (3.58 million U.S. dollars) on the day.

It was followed by Disney and Marvel's "Avengers: Endgame," which took in 12.32 million yuan.

Coming in the third was the Lebanese film "Capernaum," which raked in around 7.62 million yuan.
