BRATISLAVA, May 14 (Xinhua) -- After losing to Canada 8-0 on Sunday, Team Great Britain got thrashed again in Group A at the ongoing Ice Hockey Worlds. Meanwhile, Denmark prevailed with a staggering 9-0 score on Tuesday, their highest win ever at a world championship.

Denmark had no trouble deciding the game in the first period. Jasper Jensen redirected a shot into Ben Bowns' net, Mathias Bau Hansen scored one minute later on a man advantage and Marten Poulsen provided a comfortable 3-0 cushion for Denmark soon after.

The squad of coach Heinz Ehlers dominated the game with five more goals scored in the second period and one in the third.

Poulsen ended the game in Kosice with a hat trick after capitalizing on Jensen's great pass in the second period and breaking away during a penalty kill in the third.

Denmark will face off against the Finns on Wednesday and last-placed Britain will try their luck against the United States on Thursday.
