BEIJING, May 16 (Xinhua) -- Hollywood's "Pokemon Detective Pikachu" continued to top the Chinese mainland box office Wednesday, according to the China Movie Data Information Network Thursday.
The live-action/animated film grossed 17.85 million yuan (about 2.6 million U.S. dollars) on the day.
It was followed by Disney and Marvel's "Avengers: Endgame," which took in about 9.74 million yuan.
Coming in the third was the Lebanese film "Capernaum," which earned around 6.34 million yuan.
