Jordan condemns terrorist attack in Somalia

AMMAN, July 13 (Xinhua) -- Jordan on Saturday condemned the terrorist attack that killed 26 people and injured dozens at a hotel in Somalia, the state-run Petra news agency reported.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Sufian Qudah stressed Jordan's support for Somalia in the face of terrorism that targets the country's security and stability.

The official voiced his condolences over the lost lives and wished the injured a speedy recovery. Qudah also stressed Jordan's firm stance against all forms of violence and terrorism.

At least 26 people were killed and 56 others injured in a deadly terrorist attack at a hotel in Somalian port town of Kismayo, officials said Saturday.
