BEIJING, April 21 (Xinhua) -- Alex Teixeira scored his double in seven minutes as Jiangsu Suning beat Guangzhou Fuli 5-1 at home for their third straight victory in the sixth round of the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Sunday.
Suning took an early lead as forward Eder Citadin Martins slotted home the opener in less than three minutes, but the visitors found the equalizer within 10 minutes as Dusko Tosic leapt up for the header.
Then it was Teixeira's showtime as the Brazilian seized the chances to slice through R&F's defense in the 20th and 26th minutes and netted twice to give Suning a two-goal lead.
Martins also scored his second goal in 65th minute, before Xie Pengfei completed the spree with the fifth goal of the game in 89th minute for the home side.
Suning are demonstrating their prowess with 14 goals into the season as the most-scoring team in the league, ahead of arch rivals Shanghai SIPG, Beijing Guoan and Guangzhou Evergrande.
